Going into this, you can’t help but be intrigued because, as Vince himself admits, he doesn’t like the spotlight anymore. At the same time, watching it you also can’t help but have your guard up precisely because he’s involved, along with other McMahons and top WWE stars. Did we end up getting a necessary series? If you’re already familiar with the man and the fandom, half of this series isn’t necessary, just a lot of ruthless genius narrative that we’ve revisited more times than we need to. But given the timing, coming off of his most recent grave scandal/lawsuit, the series and its scope of voices interviewed ends up mattering a whole lot more.
