7 Best Streaming Services that Still Offer 30-day Trial in 2025

Fewer and fewer streaming services are offering month-long trials. When we first wrote this list in 2021, it had about 20 services. We've been updating it every time a service shortens their trial, to only be left with less than 10.

Some of the streaming services that still offer 30-day trials are Hulu, Mubi, Amazon Prime, and Paramount+ (through Walmart+). Just remember to cancel them on time, and you should be able to enjoy them free for a whole month. You can read more about them in the list below.

$9.99/month | 30 days free trial
Hulu is an on-demand service that streams plenty of award-winning originals. Its ad-supported plan costs $9.99/month, but you can try it free for a month if you're new to service. Just make sure to deselect the bundles Hulu recommends when signing up, since the streamer tends to push those for purchase. Only Hulu with Ads gets the 30-day trial, while Hulu with Live TV offers a three-day trial. Pros
  • Has an extensive catalog ranging from classics to fresh originals
Cons
  • Trial is only available to Hulu's ad-supported plan
  • Signing up can get complicated since Hulu pushes its bundles over standalone plans
$8.99/month | 30 days free trial
When you subscribe to Amazon Prime, you can either get the standalone streaming service for $8.99/month, or the streaming service bundled with the shopping membership for $14.99/month. Amazon Prime allows you to try both completely free for 30 days. The first plan gives you access to shows like Fleabag, The Boys, and even live sports matches. Meanwhile, the second plan gives you all that, plus perks like free shipping and discounts. Pros
  • Trial can apply to the standalone streaming plan or the all-in-one membership
  • Has a good mix of on-demand and live content
Cons
  • Prime Video originals aren't as popular and critically acclaimed as the competition
  • Free trial doesn't apply to Prime Video's ad-free tier
$14.99/month | 30 days free trial
Mubi normally lets new subscribers try their service free for seven days, but if you click the link below, you can extend that trial to 30 days. Cons

$12.95/month | 30 days free trial
Paramount+ Essential, currently valued at $8/month, streams original shows and select live games from CBS Sports. You can try it free for seven days if you subscribe through Paramount+'s platform, but you could also try it free for 30 days if you subscribe to Walmart+. Walmart+ is a shopping membership whose month-long free trial lets you enjoy a variety of perks, which happen to include a free Paramount+ Essential subscription. After your 30 days are up, you're charged $12.95/month unless you cancel on time. Pros
  • Lets you try Paramount+ Essential free for 30 days
  • Trial also applies to Walmart+'s shopping perks, like free delivery and fuel discounts

Spotify Premium and Hulu with Ads normally cost a combined $21.98/month, but if you're a student, you only have to pay $5.99/month with this bundle. Even better? Your first month is completely free. You can enjoy ad-free Spotify and all of Hulu's films and TV shows at zero cost for 30 days. To qualify, you'd have to be enrolled at a US Title IV-accredited college, as verified by SheerID. Pros

Amazon Prime Kids+ is an ad-free subscription that offers a variety of books, games, and shows appropriate for kids aged 3 to 12. A lot of the content comes from popular studios like Disney, Nickelodeon, and National Geographic. Notably, the service features parental controls that let you set time limits and educational goals, among others. A major downside to the app, however, is that it's only available on Amazon Kids devices, which some users have reported as glitchy. Non-Amazon Prime members also have to pay an extra $2/month for the Kids+ service. Pros
  • Comprehensive parental controls
  • Features content from Marvel, PBS Kids, Disney, and Nickelodeon
Cons
  • The app is only compatible with Amazon Kids devices
  • Monthly subscription costs $2 more for non-Amazon Prime members
