Most people seek quality fictional entertainment, but on occasion, sometimes what’s real is what piques a viewer’s interest– documentaries, films or shows alike, are present in many streaming services, but not many hold the same library as MagellanTV. It’s the home of high quality documentaries from across various genres, so you’ll probably learn a thing or two if you subscribe and watch MagellanTV.

What does it do differently?

Many streaming services might have documentaries, but it’s not usually their main fare, usually hosting fictional narrative features and series. MagellanTV is one of the few dedicated to documentaries at a pretty decent cost, so if you’re looking for something real, MagellanTV’s a pretty good choice. That being said, some subjects have better fare than others– true crime fans in some regions have complaints about it– but it has a much better balance of subjects compared to its science-focused peers Discovery+ and Curiosity Stream.
