It looks like Google is officially replacing Chromecast with TV Streamer. The new streaming device is twice the price of Chromecast, but it also has four times more storage space, Dolby Atmos and Vision (Chromecast only has Vision), an ethernet port you can directly connect to the router, and access to smart home controls. Most conveniently, it has a find remote function - you only have to press a button on the hardware to find it. But for all those pros ($100 price tag notwithstanding), there are only so many streaming apps compatible with the device. That ought to change as time goes by and it gets fully configured, but for now, these are all the worthwhile live TV streaming services available on Google TV Streamer. YouTube TV is, of course there, but other favorites like DirecTV Stream and Paramount+ have yet to make an appearance.
