The cable alternative Fubo offers a good mix of entertainment and sports — admittedly, it offers more of the latter, but you’ll see a lot of the former too in channels like Hallmark, Bravo, and FMC. It used to have more, but after a carriage dispute with some companies, it’s since had to drop popular channels like HGTV, Lifetime, CNN, and TNT. Still, it’s a great option if you’re watching with sports fans. Fubo has more regional sports networks (RSNs) than most of the services in this list.

Philo is a live TV streaming service that only offers 70 channels, but pairing it with unlimited DVR and four simultaneous streams, all for just $28/month, makes it a pretty good deal for many cord-cutters. Among those channels are all three Hallmark channels, as well as HGTV, weTV, Lifetime, and Magnolia. For an extra $8/month, you can also add Hallmark+ to your lineup.

If you’re looking for an all-in-one solution to cutting the cord, DirecTV Stream is a good place to start. The live TV package, which you can cancel anytime, offers hundreds of channels, a useful program guide, unlimited DVR, and some of the best picture quality in the game. It carries Hallmark as well as similar channels like Lifetime and Magnolia. However, not all DirecTV Stream plans carry sister channel Hallmark Mystery. Hallmark Family, meanwhile, is only available through an add-on.

Hulu with Live TV is a streaming bundle that combines about a hundred live channels with on-demand services like Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+ at no extra cost. Along with Hallmark, Hulu with Live TV subscribers can also enjoy Hallmark Mystery, although you might have to pay extra to watch Hallmark Family.

Though it’s received complaints over the years about its inconsistent streaming quality and its tendency to hike up prices along with other services, YouTube TV remains flexible, easy-to-use, and varied enough to be an ideal service for beginner cord-cutters.

Add it through Prime Video Channels for $8.99/mo and you get Hallmark movies and originals on demand without leaving the Prime app. It’s on-demand, so there’s still no live Hallmark Channel feed, and you need a Prime membership ($14.99/mo) or standalone Prime Video ($8.99/mo) underneath it.
Prime Video itself won’t have the live channel, but its Channels store rents the network’s own app as an on-demand add-on, billed through Amazon.

While Hallmark is still the go-to channel for all things sweet and Christmas-y, some viewers have noticed a noticeable shift from airing originals to reruns. The channel is roughly 80% Golden Girls, Frasier, and Reba at the moment; the Hallmark films don’t air until much later. Some viewers speculate this is Hallmark’s way of pushing viewers to subscribe to Hallmark+. True enough, the streaming service boasts shows and movies of its own, as well as next-day streaming of Hallmark and Hallmark Mystery titles.
