What it's about

On the brink of separation, Ethan and Sophie escape to a beautiful vacation house for a weekend getaway in an attempt to save their marriage. What begins as a romantic and fun retreat soon becomes surreal, when an unexpected discovery forces the two to examine themselves, their relationship, and their future.

The take

Elisabeth Moss is in it. Calling The One I Love a romantic-comedy, looking it up, or trusting anyone else about it -- especially my review, will ruin this film for you. Just watch it. If one's penchant is typically opposed to titles with 'love' in them, then it's for you. Just hit 'play', or 'start', or whatever. The initial wtf-ness that attracted me to it is compelled further by excellent acting. And Elisabeth Moss is in it.

Comments

The One I Love stars Mark Duplass and Elisabeth Moss as a couple who have problems connecting. At the suggestion of their therapist, they go to a secluded house to work on their relationship. It is a simple plot that keeps you engaged and is only 90 minutes. And it comes with a creepy twist. Definitely worth a watch.

Great movie and great cast of just Elizabeth Moss, Mark Duplass, and Ted Danson. They story keeps you curious and engaged the whole time. Has some twists and a unique storyline.
