The take
Well, to start off... I want to say that this movie will have you (or at least me) blubbering like a five year old girl after being told there will be no pony for her birthday. No matter the hair on your chest, there will be many tears streaming from your eyes. Now that I got that off my chest, I'll start with the synopsis and review. A son tries to look for the truth in his father's tales of younger years. This is a masterpiece composed by Tim Burton (not staring Johnny Depp); not only is the acting on point but the story is believable and complemented by the beautiful cinematography. The story takes you through the decadent and interesting life of a young man (Ewan McGregor) told through the present day man himself (Albert Finney). Recognizable cast would be Ewan McGregor (Jedi Dude), Albert Finney, Steve Buscemi (Creepy Guy, Boardwalk Empire), Danny DeVito (Always Sunny), Helena Carter (Creepy Chick, Harry Potter) and Marion Cotilliad (Inception, Batman). Anywho, spectacular movie with great casting, story, and cinematography.
