YouTube TV Discount: How to Get $75 Off

Updated on April 13, 2026 • By Isabella Endrinal

There was once a time when live TV streaming was significantly cheaper than clunky cable TV. With the same channel line-up at a lower price, streaming was clearly the better deal.

Times have changed since. While still slightly cheaper than cable TV, the price of live TV steadily rose to the rates today. Sure, the tech improved and more features were added, but we certainly missed the cheaper deal streaming offered.

It’s why we make articles like this. Usually, we try to hunt discounts, rebates, and coupons down ourselves, to help readers like you to save up on entertainment. This time, we received a notice about a discount that you can use for YouTube TV. We’ll tell you how to avail of it through the article below.

What is this YouTube TV discount?

From now until June 2026, YouTube TV is offering a special discount for your first five months. Instead of paying the usual $82.99/month, new users can enjoy the standard YouTube TV base plan at $67.99 for five months. That’s $15 off per month, or $75 off, in total.

YouTube TV’s current front page offers a similar deal, but instead of five months, the front page only offers the discount for three months only. By signing up through our method, you get an extra $30 off compared to the offer on their landing page.

How to claim the discount, step by step

1. Open our special referral link. Once loaded, this screen should appear. Press Try It Free to proceed.

2. You will be directed to the sign in page. Input the Google email address you would like to link your YouTube TV account to.

3. Once you sign in, your location and the promo should be reflected in the checkout page. Make sure that your location is correct, so that you can get the correct local channels. Scroll down, press Next at the bottom right corner to proceed.

4. Input your billing details and enjoy YouTube TV.

Can you get the discount for other YouTube TV plans?

Currently, the discount is only available for the original YouTube TV base plan. This deal is not available for YouTube TV’s new plans, such as the Sports Plan, Sports + News Plan, Entertainment Plan, and News + Family + Entertainment Plan.

That said, these new plans already have a separate promo. Depending on the plan chosen, new users can get these plans at a discounted price for 3 months to a year. You’ll have to check if these plans are available in your area first, since it will take a while for all these plans to roll out.

However, seeing that this discount covers YouTube TV’s most comprehensive plan, it means that you won’t be missing out on most channels. Through the discount, new users can watch most of YouTube TV’s channel line-up. If, after five months, the base plan’s full price is too high, these users can swap to a more curated, cheaper plan that focuses on their preferred genre.

What channels do you actually get?

The YouTube TV base plan has one of the widest channel line-ups in all of live TV streaming. With over a hundred channels, there’s something for everyone to watch.

Depending on your location, you can stream your local ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC, alongside national news networks like CNN and BBC News. Kids can watch Disney, Cartoon Network, and Nickelodeon for family-friendly shows, while after hours, adults can turn on channels like Bravo, Comedy Central, and Adult Swim for mature entertainment. Lifestyle enthusiasts can keep up with the Food Network, Travel Channel, and Tastemade. And of course, sports fans can stream key channels like ESPN, MotorTrend, and the NFL Network.

You can also opt to add more channels through YouTube TV’s add-ons, or add premium on-demand subscriptions like HBO Max and Paramount+ for more on-demand content.

Does the discount renew every month?

This discount only renews for the first five months. After five months, the price will revert to the normal rate, which is currently at $82.99/month.

FAQ

Can you cancel anytime?

Yes, you can cancel your YouTube TV plan any time. If you cancel before the free trial period ends, you won’t be charged. After the trial period, your access to YouTube TV’s library and your cloud DVR will continue until the end of your billing period. There are no refunds for partial billing periods. Note: If you choose to cancel, and then resubscribe, this promotional discount would not apply to the same account, since this offer is only available for new customers.

Does the discount apply even if I include add-ons?

The discount is only available for the YouTube TV base plan. You may be able to include some add-ons and premium subscriptions, however the total discount will still remain the same.
