With a pretty much boilerplates plot, there is one thing that makes this movie worth watching and she’s called Melissa McCarthy. She is hilarious. Seriously, she’s the best.
Together with Sandra Bullock, they manage to show off fantastic chemistry, out buddy-copping even Gibson and Glover at the height of their powers. This female duo is very entertaining so it’s an easy choice if you want a light-hearted night full of laughs and popcorn.
Uptight and straight-laced, FBI Special Agent Sarah Ashburn is a methodical investigator with a reputation for excellence--and hyper-arrogance. Shannon Mullins, one of Boston P.D.'s "finest," is foul-mouthed and has a very short fuse, and uses her gut instinct and street smarts to catch the most elusive criminals. Neither has ever had a partner, or a friend for that matter. When these two wildly incompatible law officers join forces to bring down a ruthless drug lord, they become the last thing anyone expected: buddies.

Bilal Zouheir is the founder of A Good Movie to Watch. He is US-based and a member of the Nevada Film Critics Society. He grew up in Morocco, where he learned English from watching movies.
